Step-by-Step Guide:
- Disconnect Supply Lines:
Remove the N2 supply lines going into the filter. - Remove Quick Connects:
Detach the quick connect fittings that go to the 8 PSI pressure switch. - Remove Filter Assembly:
If space allows, remove the entire filter with fittings attached. Otherwise, remove the fittings first, then the filter body. - Prep New Filter:
Open the new filter and apply Teflon tape to both threaded ends. Note that one side may be tighter to access due to the drain plug. - Install New Filter:
- Thread the new filter into the stainless steel tee on the heater manifold.
- Be sure the flow arrow and cap face are both oriented toward the N2 heater manifold.
- Tighten snugly, but avoid over-tightening.
- Reconnect Hardware:
Attach the tee fitting and ensure it’s secure. Reconnect the N2 tubing and quick connects to the 8 PSI switch.
And thatโs itโyour SRD is ready to go with a new N2 filter in place.
