SITEK Refurbishment Process
This video details the complete refurbishment capabilities of SITEK Process Solutions. With over 25 years of experience supporting the semiconductor industry, SITEK is proud to be your end-to-end solution for Spin Rinse Dryer (SRD) and front-end wafer processing equipment.
SITEK is the primary provider of SRD repairs, spare parts, and rebuilds, supporting all models from Semitool, Rhetech, and SITEK. We are also the official owner and manufacturer of the Verteq / Marteq product line, offering full parts and service support for those systems as well.
Refurbishment Overview
Each SRD refurbishment begins with a complete teardown. All components are disassembled, inspected, and reconditioned:
- Metal parts are electropolished to restore clean, corrosion-resistant surfaces.
- All consumables are replaced, including tubing, o-rings, and seals.
- Critical components—valves, motors, heaters, sensors—are cleaned, tested, and either rebuilt or replaced.
Every unit is rebuilt according to SITEK’s strict internal manufacturing protocols. Our technicians carefully restore each SRD to meet or exceed OEM standards, with attention to proper spacing, cable routing, and assembly.
Poly & Controller Assembly
After the internal chassis is rebuilt, a new poly outer skin is custom-cut and mounted. Controllers are either repaired, replaced, or upgraded:
- SITEK’s SlickDevice™ Controller can be installed to replace the legacy PSC 101.
- All controllers are bench-tested for spin control, resistivity, and purge logic.
- Electrical compatibility for 110–120V or 220–230V systems is verified prior to final test.
Final Testing & Quality Assurance
Every system undergoes final assembly and thorough testing:
- Calibrated for spin speed, resistivity, N2 purge, and safety interlocks.
- Tested using your cassette and substrate type when possible.
- Inspected in our clean test area with a video source inspection provided for customer approval.

Once approved, each SRD is professionally packaged and shipped. SITEK offers continued support after delivery, including:
