Our Refurbishment Process
1. Inspection & Breakdown
Equipment arriving at SITEK for refurbishment is documented and confirmed against our customer’s open order. Systems are then completely disassembled to the component level for servicing. No matter how damaged, we can refurbish your SRD back to like new condition.
2. Chemical Clean and Rebuild
All metal parts are chemically cleaned and electropolished to remove any possible contaminants from previous use. Components are rebuilt and every consumable is automatically replaced. SITEK’s decontamination and rebuild process guarantees performance back to OEM specifications.
3. Assembly and Quality Control
Once all components are prepared, each SRD chamber is assembled following SITEK standard guidelines and quality control protocols. Assembled systems are both dry and wet tested for functionality before being signed off as complete. Thorough labeling of every component allows for easy identification in the future.
4. Video Source Inspections
Every SRD goes through a minimum of 50 straight process runs without failure before being prepared for a video source inspection. All systems are filmed and uploaded to our YouTube channel so customers can see their actual system in action prior to shipment!
